In this episode, I ask Chelsea the all-important questions about caretaking for her parents, which began at a very young age after her father became a quadriplegic. She describes the challenges associated with balancing self-care with caregiving and the impact it has had on her life. She gives us her best advice and guidance including letting go of guilt and asking for help.
Chelsea Van Buskirk has nothing to prove – anymore! She is a multi-skilled mompreneur who has risen above the many challenges and painful moments of her life that left her feeling broken and unworthy where she was living to please and serve others to gain approval. She is on a purposeful mission to help empower women who feel stuck in unrealistic expectations and who are living life as a dimmed-down version of their truest brightest selves.
Chelsea strives to help women remember their innate power so they can shine their light and find their inner strength to break free and live life authentically and joyfully through healing, self-love, and internal validation. She wants women to know the freedom of living life as our most authentic selves, learning to love all the pieces of ourselves, owning all the ways we have been broken through life’s painful moments, and recognizing we are enough and still whole. She has risen up, broken free, and learned to heal her wound, which is when she found her inner power and strength and came to the realization of her worth. Subsequently, she confidently began to shine her light unapologetically and lead others to find their own inner power and shine their light too.
A modern-day spiritual teacher, Chelsea spends her days producing inspirational content and managing her and her husband’s rental property empire, all while momming their three kids in the suburban streets of south Denver, Colorado.
Chelsea is in the process of finishing her first book and she hosts the Heart AF podcast where she’s been known to drop the F-bomb, which I’m okay with, but we kept it clean on this episode.
