Begin the toss with the obvious items. For example, medications and products that are expired, makeup that is gunky and essentially unusable, or an overabundance of travel sized products that you couldn’t ever use (donate to a shelter).
Organize your items by category and contain them appropriately. For prescription medications, make sure they’re out of the reach of children!
When you go through your items, consider putting a handful of travel-sized items in a basket or zipped pouch for guests.
